Tire dressing serves a much significant role than just providing shine. A good quality product will also prevent drying of the rubber and cracking of the tire. Tires are expected to last for years and tens of thousands of miles; while, being exposed to the harsh terrain and conditions. Depending on where you live, tires can be exposed to very harsh summers with very little rainwater or, they may be exposed to hail, snow, and dust storms. Because of this, it is highly essential for your tires to be able to withstand the elements.
They are available in many different forms and which is best for you depends on your needs.
Application
Always apply tire dressing on a clean and dry tire. Never apply to an unwashed tire because the tire dressing will not adhere to the tire. Apply a thin, even coat to all four tires and wipe off if necessary.
